Data controller
Advisense AB (hereinafter referred to as “Advisense”, “we” or “us”) are joint controllers for the processing of the personal data you provide when you are in contact with us.
When and how we collect personal data
The personal data that we collect and process is provided directly by you. We collect and process your personal data in various situations, such as when you visit our website, download our articles and reports, subscribe to our newsletter, fill out a contact form, participate in an event organised by us, or are in touch with one of our consultants.
We may also collect and process your personal data if you or your employer are a customer of Advisense.

Types of personal data we collect
We collect certain personal data from you in the contexts mentioned above. The personal data we collect includes your name, email address, name of your company/employer, your title, country and other information you provide, such as a telephone number.
For what purposes does Advisense collect and process your personal data?
We collect and process your personal data for the purpose of managing our business relationship with you. This includes administering our customer and prospect register, providing you with news and information, providing you with the services you request (e.g. downloading articles and reports or subscribing to newsletters) and sending invitations to events that we organise. Country data is collected for the purpose of ensuring compliance with local legislation, such as marketing laws.
Your personal data is also processed for the purpose of providing you with what we believe to be relevant news and information for you, to invite you to relevant events and to personally contact you to offer our services. If you consent to cookies when you visit our website (see further our Cookie Policy), we may combine this data with your other data in order to further tailor news, information, invitations and offers to you.
You may decline to receive further marketing communication from us at any time.
If you are our customer, our purposes also include the business communication between us.
If you are a customer or other business partner of Advisense, we may also use your personal data for the purpose of sharing client stories or to market our company via our website or social media. These types of activities only occur if you have given your consent (for more information, see below under “On what legal basis is your personal data processed?”).

How long does Advisense store your personal data?
We retain your personal data for as long as it is necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected, for example for two (2) years after you last filled out a form on our website or had a meeting with us.
Where is your personal data stored?
Your data is stored within the European Economic Area (“EEA”) with secure access thanks to the highest technical standards and practices. In some situations, your data may also be transferred to and processed in a country outside the EEA. Any such transfer of your personal data will be carried out in accordance with applicable laws and always with appropriate safeguards in place to ensure that your information is protected.
On what legal basis is your personal data processed?
In general, we process your personal data based on our legitimate interest, with the purpose of managing an effective business relationship and marketing our services to you. In jurisdictions where consent is required for electronic marketing, this is applied. You always have the right to object to our processing and decline further marketing from us, or to withdraw your consent.
We also comply with other applicable legislation in relevant areas, such as marketing legislation.
As stated above, in certain circumstances we may process your personal data based on your consent (see above under “For what purposes does Advisense collect and process your personal data?”).
Your rights
We understand that you may sometimes need additional information from us about your personal data or that you may wish to update or correct the personal data you have provided to us. In light of this, you have the following rights:
- Right of access to your personal data: you are entitled to know whether we are processing your personal data and, if so, to access the personal data and information.
- Right to have incorrect data about you corrected: if you believe that personal data that we process about you is incorrect, you are entitled to require us to correct this personal data.
- Right to erasure of your personal data (right to be forgotten): in certain circumstances, for example if your personal data has been processed unlawfully or if you have withdrawn your consent (if the processing of your personal data is based on consent), you are entitled to ask us to erase the personal data we hold about you.
- Right to restriction: in certain circumstances, for example if you believe that personal data about you is inaccurate or if you have objected to our processing of your personal data based on legitimate interest, you are entitled to request that we restrict the processing of your personal data until a solution has been found.
- Right to object: in certain circumstances, for example if you believe that personal data about you is inaccurate, you have the right to object to such processing on grounds relating to your specific situation.
- Right to transfer your data (data portability): if your personal data is processed automatically based on your consent or for the fulfilment of our contractual relationship, you are entitled to request that we supply your personal data in a machine-readable format for transfer to another data controller.
- Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority: you are entitled to lodge a complaint about our processing of your personal data with your national supervisory authority.
