Ritva Malmqvist has been appointed as Director of IT Assurance at Advisense
Ritva has extensive experience in IT auditing and information security as both a specialist and a leader, having worked both in line roles and as a consultant for large and global companies across various sectors such as finance, insurance, telecommunications, and manufacturing. Since the beginning of her career, Ritva has been actively involved in and has closely followed the development of established standards and regulations for IT auditing and information security. Over the years, she has gained significant experience in applying these based on the requirements of the organisation. She also has substantial experience working with independent third-party assurance reports (ISAE) for the certification of service providers’ control environments.
Why did you choose to join Advisense?
– Because it is an exciting and successful consulting firm where I will have the opportunity to work on interesting projects with market-leading clients across various sectors. What will be important to you in your role as Director of IT Assurance?
– I aim to create value for our clients by helping them improve their management of IT-related risks and enhance their security level in today’s turbulent environment and rapid pace of digitalisation. I also want to assist clients in navigating new and upcoming complex regulations, such as NIS2, DORA, and CER, to ensure companies meet all relevant requirements, thereby reducing the risk of costly sanctions. By tailoring and implementing a systematic information security approach based on the specific needs of each customer and robust protective measures, trust in the market is strengthened among customers and partners, leading to long-term success.
