FCG chairwoman Liselotte Engstam named one of 2021 Modern Governance Top 100 in the world
FCG are proud to announce that FCG chairwoman Liselotte Engstam has been recognized, by a global jury of industry experts facilitated by the SaaS Governance Risk and Compliance provider Diligent, in the annual global Modern Governance top 100 list and the ESG and Diversity Trailblazer category.
The jury recognized Ms Engstam’s outstanding commitment to enable an increase in diversity and operationalize ESG in her organizations as well as across the industry.
From the outset, FCG has strived towards its vision of a sustainable future for people, business and society through a sound financial industry. Over the last decade, Environmental, Social and Governance has become increasingly important in the financial services industry, not only to comply with the increasing regulation in the area, but as a means to promote more sustainable alternatives when for instance making investment decisions. FCG has an important part to play, supporting our clients to build governance models and risk measurement systems that take the ESG perspectives into account.
Diversity progress in the GRC field has long been at the heart of what FCG believes in and the company considers it a prerequisite to be a more innovative, dynamic and successful company. Therefore, FCG are very proud to have a champion of inclusion, diversity and sustainability at the head of the table.

As a recipient of the ESG & Diversity Trailblazer category, the global panel of expert judges have recognized Ms Engstam’s outstanding commitment to increase diversity and operationalize ESG across her engagements. Ms Engstam’s engagements include her role as Chairwomen at the GRC leader FCG and independent directorship at listed and private companies in several countries.
She is Chairwoman and founder of Boards Impact Forum, the Nordic Chapter of the Climate Governance Initiative in collaboration with World Economic Forum. Ms Engstam is also the founder of Digoshen, facilitating academic research, authoring books, and enabling board network exchanges across the globe.
