Liselotte Engstam joins FCG as Chairperson

Established in Stockholm in 2008, FCG is the leading Nordic specialist service provider of Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) services, primarily focused on the financial sector. The Company offers expertise in the form of consultancy services, outsourcing and fund administration from operations in Stockholm, Malmö, Copenhagen, Oslo and Aarhus. On the back of strong market demand, and with the successful launch of new service concepts and long-term embedded customer relationships, FCG has grown rapidly over the past years to become the largest dedicated GRC team across the Nordic region. Its high level of competency and deep expertise of regulatory frameworks, combined with a partnership philosophy towards customers, has allowed FCG to grow the customer base across all sizes and segments of the financial industry. Bridgepoint invested in the business in April 2018 to become a significant shareholder, and the Company is now embarking on the second leg of its expansion journey, including a coming geographic expansion to Finland and Germany and a broadening of the service offering.

Liselotte holds a Masters Degree in Engineering from Chalmers University of Technology and has a background from international leadership positions in services and technology companies as IBM and HCL, serving several industries including financial services and insurance. Liselotte holds Board positions at companies such as Tieto OY, Zalaris ASA, Aino Health AB (Chair), Transtema Group AB and at INSEADs Board Director Network. Liselotte is an advisor to organisations on digital business strategy, teaches at Chairman Programs and advices the European Commission, as part of a 12-member expert group focusing on digital transformation and corporate governance during a two year mandate. Relevant experience, energy and expertise were the main reasons for appointing Liselotte as Chair of the FCG Board:
