Advisense partners with ACAMS to deliver world-class AML training
Partnership expands access to the global benchmark for AML certification as demand for skilled financial crime professionals grows.
Press release
Stockholm, 10th September – Advisense, a leading governance, risk and compliance (GRC) consultancy in the Nordics and Europe, is pleased to announce its partnership with ACAMS, the certification and intelligence company for the anti-financial crime community.
Through the partnership, Advisense will offer ACAMS training programmes across the Nordic region, enabling professionals to prepare for the globally recognised Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist, CAMS, certification. The first training course is scheduled for January 2027.
The partnership combines ACAMS’ internationally recognized certification framework with Advisense’s deep practical expertise in anti-money laundering (AML), financial crime prevention and regulatory compliance. As financial crime risks continue to evolve and regulatory expectations increase, organisations face growing demand for highly qualified AML professionals.
“The shortage of skilled anti-money laundering (AML) professionals is one of the financial industry’s most pressing challenges. As regulatory expectations continue to rise and financial crime becomes increasingly sophisticated, financial institutions face growing demand for qualified professionals with key expertise. We are very pleased to offer world-class certified AML training in partnership with ACAMS”, says Jonas Karlsson, Head of Financial Crime Prevention at Advisense.
Through this collaboration, Advisense will provide financial institutions and other regulated organisations with access to world-class AML education delivered locally by experienced practitioners with extensive Nordic market knowledge.
“CAMS has long served as a common language for anti-financial crime professionals around the world, helping teams align around shared standards, practical knowledge and a stronger sense of community,” said Neil Sternthal, CEO of ACAMS. “Through our partnership with Advisense, we are pleased to support AML professionals across the Nordic region with training that not only builds technical expertise, but also connects them to the broader global network working to protect the financial system.”
The partnership reinforces Advisense’s long-standing commitment to strengthening competence within governance, risk and compliance while expanding access to the global standard for AML certification across the Nordic region.
